About The Symposium

The MISASA IV is dedicated to the exchange of information on sample return space mission and their impacts on analytical geo/cosmochemistry, geology, and environmental problems. We also intend to exhibit recent achievements in the Hayabusa mission for public.

The main themes of the symposium will include:

  1. Space missions: sample-return and planetary missions (Hayabusa, Hayabusa-2, OSIRIS-REx, Genesis, Stardust, Akatsuki, BepiColombo, MESSENGER, SELENE-2)
  2. Earth evolution and geosphere dynamics
  3. Geosphere-biosphere-humanosphere interactions

  • February 15, 2012: deadline for abstract submission
  • February 24–26, 2012: the symposium
